The blangadesh worker

Suddenly remembered something. Around 7 yrs ago, I boarded the bus 62 at the stop after aljunied MRT. Then, the air smelled of glue and at the end of the bus was the blangadesh worker sniffing glue.

I sat beside him. He looked confused. Must be the glue. The bus did not leave the stop and I think someone called the police. Within 10 mins, a police car with 2-3 police came to arrest him. He did not resist. Must be the glue.

After that incident. Alot of things came into mind. Why would someone do this in the first place? It cant be that he is doing this for fun. Coming here from far away with a different culture, society's pressure etc. This man may have been in an anomie state. Look at how capitalism cause such inevitable circumstances.

One may think that he will not do it no matter the circumstances. But I say that we do not know even if we put ourselves into their shoe. No matter how psychic or how good you are in intepreting the situtation, you will never know how he felt. His experiences comprises since the day he was born till then. No one would understand how his brain process things. What we inteprete is based on our own experience or experience from the media.

I intepreted that he must be very stressed and the only way out was to "trick his mind" by sniffing glue. To give him a state where he will be temporarily relieved. We humans are like that, aren't we?

More and more of this is happening. It's just that we do not see it. Capitalism was created to benefit mankind, not to segregate people into categories based on elitism.

How about thinking money as rabbit droppings? Imagine people robbing banks for that pellets and people arguing with each other because of the shit. Companies will be maximising their accumulation of shit and minimising their loss of shit. Companies close down because they dont have enough shit. Companies prosper because they are full of shit. Lol.

Ok it's going out of point...
