When will we reach the bottom of the bear market?

Signs:
No one wants to be in the market.
Economic news are horrible.
The world is falling apart.

Specific signs before the bottom:
GM & Chrysler fails, restructured, or merged.
US dollar depreciates rapidly.
Unemployment rate rise to new highs but rate of change is slowing.
When people start talking that it is worse than the Great Depression.
